Madhya Pradesh’s Chief Minister Mohan Yadav carried out a major shake-up in the state’s bureaucracy by transferring 15 IAS officers, out of which, five bureaucrats with IIM, IIT, and the London School of Economics (LSE) backgrounds, were appointed to the CM Secretariat.
CM Yadav appointed 2008 batch IAS officer, Bharat Yadav, as his Secretary. He also brought Managing Director of MP Road Development Corporation, 2009 batch IAS officer Avanish Lavania, as his Additional Secretary. Mr. Lavania’s did his B.Tech and M.Tech from IIT Delhi.
The CM also appointed Additional Secretary of Revenue and Controller of Government Printing and Stationery, 2010 batch IAS officer Chandrashekhar Walimbe, as the additional secretary in the CMO. Mr. Walimbe is a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Kharagpur.
2013 batch IAS officer and Director of Health Services, Aditi Garg, and 2016 batch IAS officer and Commissioner of Ujjain Municipal Corporation, Anshul Gupta, have been appointed as Deputy Secretaries in the CMO. Ms. Garg’s is a Master’s from the London School of Economics (LSE) while Mr. Gupta is an M.Tech in electrical engineering from IIT Kanpur and an MBA from IIM Bangalore.
