Even though the assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh are over, the political disputes are still going on. Both BJP and Congress have made big allegations against the bureaucracy. Both parties say that the officers in the state have shown favoritism.
That is why, after the counting of votes, whichever party forms the government, action can be taken against eight collectors and four SPs in the state.
Complaints have been made to the Election Commission by parties. Congress has even made a list of such officers. While the BJP had demanded the removal of four collectors, accusing them of not cooperating as expected during the elections.
At the same time, Congress leaders had accused eight collectors of being agents of BJP and influencing the elections. Among these are Narsinghpur, Chhatarpur and Bhind collectors, about whom BJP has also complained.
