Siddipet district collector P Venkata Rami Reddy has taken the political plunge after quitting service.
The conferred IAS officer, who had one more year remaining in his service, submitted his resignation on Monday.
“From close interaction with CM K Chandrashekhar RaoRao, during my term as DCDC, I understand his vision for the state directly from him,” Venkata Rami Reddy told to the media organization while confirming that he has resigned.
Though no official statement has been released yet. However, itbis expected that Reddy will be fielded as the ruling TRS party nominee to contest the MLC polls.
He started his service as the deputy collector as a group 1 officer in 1996 and was conferred IAS in the year 2007.
For the last seven years he has been the collector and joint collector. He hails from Odela in Peddapally district.
