On Wednesday, 11 May, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met IAS trainees of the 2020 batch in the state’s capital, Lucknow. During the interaction, he said, as the most important link in administration, it is their duty to ensure that social welfare schemes and policies are implemented without any bias so that everyone benefits from them.
He said, “For good governance, it is necessary to have a robust law and order situation and UP has done commendable work in the past five years on this front. The atmosphere of peace and brotherhood in UP has given new heights to progress. Bureaucrats have an important role as even small incidents tend to flare up and need to be handled effectively in the beginning.”
Further, he added, that interdepartmental coordination is crucial in the effective implementation of policies and schemes. Coordination among departments has helped in eradicating encephalitis and implementing development work properly, especially, in aspirational districts
