Uttarakhand government has given order for promotion of two IPS women officers of 2005 batch. It is being told that its orders have been issued.
According to media reports, DPC has been done on the IG rank of IPS Ridham Agarwal and IPS Neeru Garg. After which orders for their promotion have been issued. It is being told that Additional Chief Secretary Home Radha Raturi has issued these orders. Now these officers have been promoted to IG rank.
At the same time, it is being told that now 5 other IPS officers of 2005 batch will have to wait for 1 January for promotion. Because apart from the vacant posts, the rule under the ex-cadre post is of promotion from January 1 itself.
