New Delhi: The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has re-designated the post of Deputy Secretary currently held by Dileep Kumar Rajput (IRSSE: 2012) as Director in the Department of Health and Family Welfare.
Rajput’s central deputation tenure will continue up to 28 December 2027, with effect from 29 December 2022. The move recognizes his experience in administrative and policy matters and aligns with the government’s efforts to strengthen leadership in key ministries.
Aneesh Hegde Appointed Officer on Special Duty in Ministry of Railways & Jal Shakti
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Aneesh Hegde (IRTS: 2014) as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Minister of State for Jal Shakti and Railways, V Somanna.
The appointment will be for a period of four years, effective immediately. Hegde’s role as OSD will involve assisting the minister in administrative, policy, and coordination matters across the two ministries, particularly in projects related to water resources management and railway operations.
Bhawna Gulati Repatriated to Parent Cadre
In a related move, Bhawna Gulati (IRS IT: 2011), currently serving as Chief Accounts Officer (CAO), Delhi Development Authority (DDA) under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, has been prematurely repatriated to her parent cadre.
According to the notification, Gulati will be eligible for another central deputation only after 7 December 2030, reflecting a policy of cooling-off periods between central postings to ensure balanced cadre management and career progression.
