Mumbai: Shares of Central Bank of India were trading higher by 2.04% at Rs 38.08 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Friday, following the bank’s announcement that its Board of Directors will soon meet to review financial results for the second quarter of the current fiscal year.
Board Meeting Set for October 17
In a regulatory filing, the public sector lender stated that a meeting of its Board of Directors is scheduled for Friday, 17th October 2025. During this meeting, the Board will consider and approve the unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter and half-year ended 30th September 2025.
“A meeting of the Board of Directors of the Bank will be held on Friday, 17th October, 2025, inter alia, to consider and approve the unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results of the Bank for the second quarter and half year ended 30th September, 2025,” the bank said in its exchange communication.
Trading Window Closed for Insiders
Ahead of the financial disclosure, the bank has also closed its trading window for Designated Persons and their immediate relatives as per insider trading regulations. The window has been closed from 1st October 2025 and will remain shut until 19th October 2025, both days inclusive.
This measure ensures compliance with the SEBI (Prohibition of Insider Trading) Regulations, preventing any unfair advantage from access to unpublished price-sensitive information.

The market has responded positively to the announcement, with shares of Central Bank of India seeing modest gains.
