In a recent reshuffle, three IAS officers, including Reghu G from the Odisha cadre, have been appointed to significant roles within the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the lateral shift of Subhasish Panda, a 1997-batch Himachal Pradesh cadre officer, as Additional Secretary to the PMO. He will continue in this role until January 2027.
Reghu G, a 2011-batch IAS officer, who was previously serving as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs, has been assigned a similar position in the PMO. His deputation will last until August 2028.
Chandra Mohan Thakur, a 2012-batch Madhya Pradesh cadre officer, has also been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the PMO for a four-year tenure.
