Centre: ACC Announces 35 Senior-Level Appointments, Including IAS Muktanand Agarwal & Prajakta L Verma

IAS Saket Kumar will be the new Joint Secretary in the Department of Commerce. His term will last until August 16, 2025, with a temporary upgrade of a vacant post of Director to the Joint Secretary level.

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved several key appointments to various Joint Secretary and Joint Secretary-equivalent positions across multiple Ministries and Departments in the Government of India. These appointments, which span various areas including agriculture, commerce, energy, and health, reflect the government’s ongoing efforts to strengthen administrative capacity and promote efficient governance.
