New Delhi: The Government of India has issued key notifications regarding appointments, re-designations, and tenure extensions of officers across various central ministries and departments.
Notable Appointments and Tenure Extensions:
- Shailesh Kumar Singh (IAS 1991, JH): Secretary, Department of Rural Development, given additional charge as Secretary, Department of Land Resources.
- Sheetal Verma (IAS 2007, UP): Tenure as Director of Census Operations/Director of Citizen Registration, UP, extended until August 5, 2026.
- Praveen Singh Adhayach (IAS 2012, MP): Private Secretary to Minister for Agriculture & Rural Development redesignated as Director-level Private Secretary, tenure till March 25, 2030.
- Praneet Choudhary (IRAS 2008): Appointed Deputy Director General (Director level), Directorate General of Shipping, Mumbai for five years.
