The central government on Tuesday, 28 January 2025, issued orders granting proforma promotion to two Joint Commissioners of Income Tax, elevating them to the rank of Additional Commissioner of Income Tax under the CBDT. Both officers are currently serving on deputation in ex-cadre positions.
Rajesh Dhingra, who holds the position of Deputy Secretary in the A&PAC Division of CBDT under the Department of Revenue, and Vivek Gulati, serving as Joint Director at the Deputy Secretary level in the CEIB, Department of Revenue, have been granted this promotion.
