Verma Moves to Delhi Administration
Rajeev Verma, who served as Chief Secretary of Chandigarh, has been relieved to assume his new role as Chief Secretary of the National Capital Territory of Delhi starting October 1. His transfer is part of a broader bureaucratic reshuffle involving multiple UT and state-level postings.
Administrative Implications
This change in leadership at the bureaucratic helm of Chandigarh comes at a time when the administration is handling several urban development and law-and-order challenges. Brar’s additional charge is expected to provide continuity and stability as the city transitions to a new administrative head.
