In a major administrative reshuffle in Chhattisgarh, the newly elected Vishnu Deo Sai government has transferred and posted 88 IAS officers across the state. New collectors have been appointed in 18 of the total 33 districts.
In this big reshuffle, the responsibility of many districts including the capital city Raipur, has been given to new officers.
2012 batch IAS officer Gaurav Kumar Singh will be the new collector of Raipur. The incumbent Raipur Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Bhure, an IAS officer of 2011 batch, has been made the Secretary of Chhattisgarh State Election Commission.
While, 2009 batch IAS officer Bipin Manjhi has been made the collector of Narayanpur. 2012 batch IAS officer Abhijeet Singh will be the collector of Kanker.
IAS Anurag Pandey has been made Collector of Bijapur, while Bhoskar Vilas Sandipan will be Surguja Collector.
IAS Ranbir Sharma is posted the new Collector of Bemetara. D. Rahul Venkat will be the Collector of District Manendragarh-Bharatpur-Chirmiri.
IAS Pushpendra Kumar Meena, Collector, Durg has been posted as Secretary, Public Service Commission. IAS Richa Prakash Choudhary will be the new Collector of Durg,
Sanjay Aggarwal will be Rajnandgaon Collector, Namrata Gandhi will be the new Collector of Dhamtari district.
IAS Ajit Vasant will be Korba Collector, while Inderjit Singh Chandrawal has been made the new Collector of Balod.
Akash Chhikara has been made Janjgir-Champa Collector, while Rohit Vyas will be Surajpur Collector.
Mayank Chaturvedi has been made the new Collector of Dantewada.
Kunal Dudawat will be Kondagaon Collector, Chandrakant Verma has been made Collector of District Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai.
Abinash Mishra has been given the responsibility of Raipur Municipal Corporation Commissioner.
Apart from this, IPS Mayank Srivastava has been given the command of Commissioner cum Director, Public Relations.
