To bolster industrial expansion and employment generation, the Government of Chhattisgarh has invited BEML Limited to invest in the state by establishing a state-of-the-art mining equipment manufacturing facility. The proposed plant will focus on producing high-performance dump trucks, water sprinklers, and motor graders to meet the increasing demands of the mining and infrastructure sectors.
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai extended the formal invitation to BEML Limited’s Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) Shantanu Roy at the Investor Connect event in Bangalore. BEML’s senior leadership, including Director (Finance) Anil Jerath, Director (Mining & Construction and Defence) Sanjay Som, and Director (Human Resources) Debi Prasad Satpathy, along with key government ministers and senior officials, attended the event.
Chhattisgarh is positioning itself as a prime investment destination with its industry-friendly policies, rich natural resources, and a robust ease-of-doing-business framework. The state offers seamless single-window clearances, zero-paper processing, and an ecosystem conducive to industrial growth, making it an attractive location for new investments.
