Being concerned with the issue, Chief Minister Hemant Soren had also written a letter to the Prime Minister a few months back informing about the shortage of IAS officers in the state. In the letter he protested against the proposal of the Center to implement the rule of sending serving IAS officers directly on central posting without taking NOC (No Objection Certificate) from the state government.
