Gandhinagar: In a strong show of solidarity with India’s armed forces, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will visit the Nadabet Border Outpost on July 24 to meet Border Security Force (BSF) jawans who played a pivotal role in defending the state during Operation Sindoor.
Before the visit, the Chief Minister will also inaugurate and lay foundation stones for development projects worth ₹358.37 crore from the border village of Suigam, located in Banaskantha district of North Gujarat.
Operation Sindoor: Villagers, Armed Forces Lauded for Bravery
Operation Sindoor was launched in response to hostile actions along Gujarat’s international border. The BSF, backed by the Indian Armed Forces and state authorities, mounted a decisive defense.
Residents from border villages such as Suigam praised the courage of the soldiers and hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his leadership. “After the Pahalgam attack, our Prime Minister responded with a clear message—India will not tolerate aggression,” said Vishaji Rajput, a resident of Suigam. He emphasized the villagers’ discipline in following government directives and their commitment to national service.
