Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav is set to inaugurate the foundation stone laying ceremony for four significant industrial units in the Badiyakhedi Industrial Area of Sehore district on August 2, 2025. These projects mark a substantial industrial investment totaling approximately ₹1,406 crore and are expected to create around 854 new jobs in the region.
Alongside the groundbreaking, Dr. Yadav will also distribute Letters of Intent (LoIs) to six other industrial units planning investments worth ₹33.85 crore, which are projected to generate an additional 311 employment opportunities. Together, these initiatives represent a total investment of nearly ₹1,440 crore and the creation of about 1,165 new jobs in Sehore district.
Details of the Industrial Units
The four industrial units for which the foundation stones will be laid include:
- Vanyaveda Greens, Jhillela: A food processing unit spread across 20.020 hectares, with an investment of ₹115 crore, expected to employ 100 people.
- Barmalt Malting India Pvt. Ltd., Badiyakhedi Phase 2: Set to become India’s largest malt manufacturing facility, established on 10.250 hectares with an investment of ₹400 crore, providing 350 jobs.
- CG Power and Industrial Solutions Ltd., Jahangirpura: Asia’s largest transformer manufacturing plant, covering 18.260 hectares, with an investment of ₹888 crore and 394 employment opportunities.
- Shri Krishna Industries, Badiyakhedi: A food processing unit on 0.476 hectares, with ₹3 crore investment, expected to offer 10 jobs.
Letters of Intent Distribution
The six industrial units receiving Letters of Intent include RTDB Industries, Swati Sony, Sanjay Kumar, Amit Moondra, Prakash Packaging, and Arna Ventures. These units are expected to invest ₹33.85 crore collectively and generate 311 new jobs.
