Bhopal: Amid heavy rains and floods causing widespread damage to crops and property, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has provided financial relief to affected farmers. On Saturday, the CM digitally transferred ₹20.6 crore to the bank accounts of 17,500 farmers from 11 districts through a “single-click” mechanism.
Emphasizing the government’s commitment, CM Yadav said, “Our goal is sensitive governance and timely relief. Farmers’ welfare remains our top priority.”
Cumulative Relief Reaches ₹188.52 Crore
The Chief Minister informed that during the financial year 2025–26, the state government has already disbursed ₹188.52 crore in aid to farmers and other disaster-hit victims. The relief measures will continue to ensure that farmers receive timely assistance and can recover from financial distress.

High-Level Review Meeting
Earlier, the CM reviewed flood and relief operations at Samatva Bhavan in Bhopal. The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary Anurag Jain, DGP Kailash Makwana, and senior officials. District collectors and officers joined virtually to present the latest updates from affected regions.
Fertilizer Supply & Support
Dr. Yadav placed special focus on fertilizer distribution, directing district administrations to ensure that urea and other fertilizers are made available to farmers without delay. He instructed officials to maintain close contact with farmers’ organizations and guarantee transparency in the distribution system.
With rainfall exceeding normal levels this year, the government’s relief interventions aim to safeguard farmers from severe economic setbacks and support rural recovery.
