In a significant move aimed at transforming Uttar Pradesh into a leading industrial and logistics hub, Chief Minister Mr. Yogi Adityanath will launch the Uttar Pradesh Integrated Manufacturing and Logistics Cluster (UP-IMLC) project on Thursday. The ambitious initiative envisions the development of 27 integrated nodes along key expressways, aligning with the state’s vision of enhancing manufacturing, logistics connectivity, and regional economic development.
Project Led by UPEIDA
The development of these nodes will be spearheaded by the Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA). According to Mr. Hari Prasad Shahi, Additional CEO of UPEIDA, the project will help establish special industrial corridors along expressways that will serve as major hubs for logistics and manufacturing. The initiative is designed to promote equitable development across regions by leveraging existing and upcoming expressway infrastructure.
