Kokrajhar, Assam: REC Limited, under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, has sanctioned ₹6.22 crore for the construction of a multidisciplinary advanced computer lab and procurement of associated equipment at Bodoland University, Kokrajhar. This project aims to enhance digital learning infrastructure in the region, empowering students and promoting skill development.
MoA Signed to Formalize Partnership
A Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) was signed on July 29, 2025, between Mr. Subung Basumatary, Registrar of Bodoland University, and Mr. Pradeep Fellows, Executive Director (CSR) of REC Foundation. The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. M. A. Ali, HoD (CSR), along with other members of the REC CSR team and university officials. Bodoland University will serve as the implementing agency for the project.
