Dr. Pranjal J Hazarika, a 2006-batch DANICS officer, has been appointed as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Chief Secretary of Delhi, marking a key addition to the capital’s top administrative team. He was previously awaiting a posting.
In 2024, Dr. Hazarika served as Secretary to the Minister of SC/ST Welfare, Labour, and Employment in the Delhi Government, overseeing critical welfare and workforce-related portfolios.
Earlier, in 2021, he was appointed as Director-cum-Joint Secretary, Public Works Department (PWD) in the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli & Daman and Diu (DNH & DD). He also held several significant additional charges, including:
