Dr. Raju Narayan Swamy (1991 batch Kerala cadre IAS officer) released his newly penned book, ‘From Bundelkhand to Jharkhand: Musings of An Observer’, during an event at Narsinghpur, Madhya Pradesh, attended by District Collector, Ms. Sheetla Patle, (2014 batch IAS officer).
Structured as a travelogue, Dr. Swamy’s 33rd book encapsulates one’s journey through the heart of rural India, delving into the complexities of electoral processes in these regions. His other creations, like ‘Shantimanthram Muzhangunna Thazhvarayil’, fetched him the coveted Kunhunni award.
Dr. Swamy recently made it to the headlines for performing a whopping 38 number of duties as Central Observer of the Election Commission of India across 17 states. In 2021, he was bestowed with the coveted Leonardo da Vinci Fellowship by the Center for Intellectual Property and Innovation Policy by George Mason University. He is also the recipient of the Homi Bhabha Fellowship in cyber law. Dr. Swami was the all-India First Rank holder of the 1991 batch of the CSE. He has also won the Kerala Sahitya Academy Award.
