Empanelment of 21 Indian Foreign Service Officers for Promotion to Grade-III – Full Details Inside

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the empanelment of officers from the 2008 batch of the Indian Foreign Service (IFS) for promotion to Grade-III in Level 14 of the Pay Matrix. The promotion is set to be effective immediately from the date of assumption of charge and will remain in place until further orders.

The list of officers empanelled for promotion includes a diverse group of experienced diplomats serving across various critical posts worldwide. These officers have made significant contributions to the Ministry of External Affairs and represent India in key international settings.

The officers empanelled for promotion are as follows:

  1. Dr. K M Praphullachandra Sharma – Director, Establishment Division, Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi.
  2. Mr Madan Kumar Ghildiyal – Commercial Representative, Consulate General of India, Atlanta, USA.
  3. Mr Anoop Dhingra – Counsellor, Embassy of India, Berne, Switzerland.
  4. Mr Madan Lal Raigar – Ambassador of India to the Republic of Congo, Embassy of India, Brazzaville, Republic of Congo.
  5. Mr Baisnab Charan Pradhan – High Commissioner of India, High Commission of India, Freetown, Sierra Leone.
  6. Ms T Angeline Premalatha – Counsellor & Permanent Representative to the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO), Embassy of India, Beijing, China.
  7. Ms Nabanita Chakrabarti – Director, Bangladesh, Myanmar Division, Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi.
  8. Mr Mahesh Kumar – Consul General of India, Consulate General of India, Johannesburg, South Africa.
  9. Smt. Mallarapu Ashwini Naidu – Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi.
  10. Smt. Aparna Ray Pal – Counsellor, Permanent Mission of India to the UN, Geneva.
  11. Dr. Emmadi Vishnu Vardhan Reddy – Special Secretary, Investment Promotion & NRI Affairs, Government of Telangana.
