New Delhi: Engineers India Limited (EIL) has entered a new leadership phase with Atul Gupta assuming charge as Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) effective March 1, 2026. He succeeds Vartika Shukla, who superannuated on February 28, 2026, concluding her tenure at the helm of the Navratna public sector enterprise.

It was earlier reported that Atul Gupta had taken over as CMD of Engineers India Limited. However, as per the latest official communication, the additional charge of CMD has been entrusted to Mr. Praveen M. Khanooja with effect from March 1, 2026. The update clarifies the interim arrangement pending further developments.
