New Delhi / Kolkata — Engineers India Limited (EIL) marked the 79th Independence Day of India with both patriotic fervour and a significant milestone in its expansion journey. On this proud occasion, EIL’s Chairperson and Managing Director, Ms. Vartika Shukla, inaugurated the newly developed Office Premises and CIC (Central Information Centre) Building in Kolkata, symbolising a strategic boost to the company’s regional operations and client engagement in Eastern India.

The inauguration of the Kolkata office signals EIL’s growing footprint and commitment to decentralised operations. The new facility is expected to enhance responsiveness, coordination, and operational agility in the region, supporting the company’s broader vision of sustainable and innovative engineering excellence.

The company also commemorated Independence Day 2025 with grand celebrations at its Engineers India Bhawan in New Delhi and Gurugram Office Complex. The ceremonies began with the unfurling of the National Flag by CMD Ms. Shukla, accompanied by Functional Directors, the Chief Vigilance Officer, and senior officials.
In her address, Ms. Shukla paid homage to the freedom fighters whose sacrifices paved the way for India’s independence. She encouraged every citizen to actively contribute to the ongoing journey of nation-building, underlining EIL’s dedication to sustainability, innovation, and engineering excellence as a central pillar of India’s growth.
