The central government has elevated four officers from the Pondicherry Civil Service to the prestigious Indian Administrative Service. The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions officially announced the appointments of P. Priytarshny, Y.L.N Reddy, L. Mohamed Mansoor, and P. T Rudra Goud on April 8th.
Following their induction into the IAS cadre, these officers will become part of the joint AGMUT cadre, which includes Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Mizoram, and all Union Territories. The official notification stated that the president has approved these appointments against existing vacancies determined by the Government of India. On Wednesday, the newly appointed IAS officers met with Lieutenant Governor K. Kailashnathan and Chief Minister N. Rangasamy.
