Lucknow: In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government transferred 23 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers late Monday night. Among the transferred officials are District Magistrates (DMs) of 10 districts, highlighting the government’s intent to streamline governance and accelerate the implementation of key policy initiatives across the state.

Seasoned Officers Reassigned to Boost Administrative Efficiency
Several officers entrusted repeatedly with district leadership roles have been reassigned to new postings, reflecting the government’s confidence in their experience and administrative capabilities.
Ravindra Kumar Mandar (2013 batch) has been appointed District Magistrate of Ghaziabad for the fourth consecutive term. His previous stints include Rampur, Jaunpur, and Prayagraj.
Priyanka Niranjan (2013 batch) also takes charge of Gonda as DM for the fourth consecutive time. She has previously served as DM in Jalaun, Basti, and Mirzapur.
Manish Kumar Verma (2011 batch) has been assigned as DM of Prayagraj, marking his fourth consecutive tenure as DM. His earlier assignments were Kaushambi, Jaunpur, and Gautam Buddha Nagar.
Deepak Meena (2011 batch) has been posted as the DM of Gorakhpur for the fifth consecutive time. His earlier districts include Shravasti, Siddharthnagar, Meerut, and Ghaziabad.
Medha Rupam (2014 batch) has become the DM of Gautam Buddha Nagar for the third consecutive time. She has earlier served as DM of Hapur and Kasganj.

The reshuffle also includes new postings for other important IAS officers:
- Pranay Singh as DM of Kasganj
- Kapil Singh as DM of Kanpur Dehat
- Akshay Tripathi as DM of Bahraich
- Amandeep Duli as DM of Lalitpur
- Pawan Gangwar as DM of Mirzapur
