GAIL began its journey by commissioning India’s first cross-country natural gas pipeline, revolutionizing energy access across the country. Over the years, the company has diversified into City Gas Distribution (CGD), petrochemicals, shipping, and Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), strengthening India’s energy security.
Today, GAIL is not only a leader in natural gas but also a frontrunner in emerging energy solutions. The company is actively investing in renewables, Compressed Biogas (CBG), and green hydrogen to power India’s transition to sustainable energy.
