The state government has promoted three IAS officers, including Mr. Ramesh Verma, Mr. Sandip Jacques, and Mr. Sarpreet Singh Gill—to the position of Commissioner-cum-Secretary to the government.
The appointments follow their elevation to the L-14 Super Time Scale by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA). The directive, issued by the Department of Personnel on Friday, was signed by Under Secretary (Personnel-I) Eshant Sawant.
Current Portfolios of the Officers:
- Mr. Ramesh Verma (IAS-AGMUT-2009): Commissioner-cum-Secretary for Elections.
- Mr. Sandip Jacques (IAS-AGMUT-2009): Commissioner-cum-Secretary for the Revenue Department.
- Mr. Sarpreet Singh Gill (IAS-AGMUT-2009): Commissioner-cum-Secretary for the Water Resources Department.
The officers will continue to oversee their respective departments under their newly designated roles.
