Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the CM YUVA Conclave and Expo 2025 on Wednesday at the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, Lucknow. The two-day event marks a significant phase in the state’s push toward empowering youth through entrepreneurship, skill-building, and self-reliance, under the flagship Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan (CM YUVA Yojana).
The Conclave, themed “From Aspiration to Achievement,” aims to provide a dynamic platform where thousands of young entrepreneurs, financiers, academic institutions, machinery suppliers, and franchise brands converge to explore business opportunities, innovations, and collaboration.
In his inaugural address, CM Yogi said, “The youth of Uttar Pradesh are brimming with talent and drive. The CM YUVA scheme is not just about offering financial support—it is about building confidence, capability, and self-dependence among our young entrepreneurs.”

Beneficiaries Share Stories of Transformation
Five beneficiaries from different parts of the state took the stage to share how the CM YUVA Yojana transformed their dreams into thriving businesses:
- Prabhnoor Kaur from Kanpur, a professional baker trained in Bengaluru, started her luxury bakery studio with a ₹4.25 lakh loan under the scheme. She now employs multiple people and supplies premium baked goods locally. “This scheme gave youth a platform to realize their dreams,” she said.
- Vijay Pandey, a traditional wooden toy maker, expanded his business across 16 districts after discovering the scheme on social media. He secured funding in less than 20 days and now employs over 15 artisans. “The Chief Minister ensured the scheme reached people like us with full commitment,” he said.
- Tuba Siddiqui, a biotechnologist from Lucknow, launched her own line of eco-friendly cleaning products, now reaching metros like Delhi and Mumbai. Encouraged by the transparency of the scheme, she got a loan within two weeks. “Today, I proudly stand as a woman entrepreneur who carved her own path,” she shared.
- Shashank Chaurasia, a pharmacist turned photographer, quit his job in Bengaluru to pursue his creative passion. Supported by the CM YUVA loan, he set up a wedding and commercial photography studio with a turnover of ₹4–5 lakh and now employs other young professionals.
- Amardeep Singh, a physiotherapist from Sitapur, overcame financial hardship by establishing a recovery and rehabilitation center. With the help of the scheme, he’s now not only self-employed but also provides jobs to 4–5 others.
CM YUVA Yojana: Expanding Impact
Launched in early 2025, the CM YUVA Yojana offers interest-free, collateral-free loans up to ₹5 lakh, with potential extensions up to ₹10 lakh based on performance. It caters to youth between 18 and 40 years of age, aiming to drive local entrepreneurship, reduce unemployment, and promote economic self-sufficiency.
According to the latest government data:
- Over 6 lakh youth have registered for the scheme.
- More than 55,000 entrepreneurs have already received funding.
- Total sanctioned loans have crossed ₹2,750 crore.

The scheme has also emphasized women empowerment, inclusion of rural and traditional sectors, and support for marginalized communities including transgender individuals.
the Conclave & Expo
The CM YUVA Conclave 2025 is structured around three key pillars:
- Brands & Franchises – Creating business partnership opportunities.
- Banks & Financial Institutions – Offering funding guidance and on-the-spot loan facilitation.
- Skill & Support Systems – Universities, DICs, and machinery providers showcasing training and tools.
Over 10,000 youth are participating alongside 500+ machinery suppliers, 100+ franchise brands, 25+ banks, and 20+ educational institutes.
In addition, several MoUs were signed during the event, and the CM YUVA App was launched to digitize access to resources, mentorship, and scheme tracking.
Next Steps
The UP government plans to organize similar conclaves across all 18 divisional headquarters, aiming to localize entrepreneurial support and deepen scheme penetration at the grassroots level.
Final Word
The CM YUVA Conclave and Expo is not just an event—it’s a reflection of a policy shift where youth are being positioned as creators of jobs, not seekers. With success stories already emerging from urban and rural corners of Uttar Pradesh, the initiative stands out as a robust model of entrepreneurial governance, making entrepreneurship accessible, inclusive, and aspirational.
