Himachal Pradesh Government provides additional duties to IAS and HPAS officers.

In a statement issued, government of Himachal Pradesh handed over additional charges to various IAS and HPAS officers.

On Tuesday, 13th October, 2020, the Himachal Pradesh Government released an official statement handing additional charges to various Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers and a few Himachal Pradesh Administrative Service (HPAS) officers.

A few officers that are renounced from their duties during the election duty period are special secretary to state government and director of treasuries account and lotteries, Shimla, Mr. DD Sharma; Director of transport, Mr. JM Pathania; CEO of Baddi Barotiwala Nalagarh Development Authority (BBNDA), Mr. Vinod Kumar; Director of HPSEBL, Shimla, Mr. Sudesh Kumar Mokhta; settlement officer of Shimla division, Mr. DC Negi; and HP of Backward Classes and Development Corporation Kangra at Dharamshala, Mr. Raghav Sharma.

Director of public finance and public enterprises-cum-special secretary (finance), Mr. Rajesh Sharma will hold an additional charge of special secretary (finance and JSV) and director of treasuries accounts and lotteries, Shimla.

Ashwani Kumar Chaudhary, who is the settlement officer of Kangra division, will be given the additional charge of managing director of HP Backward Classes and Development Corporation Kangra at Dharamshala.

Manmohan Sharma, former director (personnel and finance) of HP Power Corporation Limited, Shimla, is given the additional charge of settlement officer, Shimla division.

Ashwani Kumar Sharma, executive director of HPSEBL, Shimla, will now hold the position of director (personnel and finance) HPSEBL, Shimla.

RK Gautam, director of UD will be holding the additional charge of director of transport, HP, Shimla and Narendra Kumar, additional CEO of BBNDA, will be in charge of CEO, BBNDA, Baddi.

Apart from this, the state government has declared that special secretary (forests and industries) Neeraj Kumar, who is also holding additional charge of managing director of HP Handicrafts and Handloom Development Corporation, Shimla, will take the duty of special secretary (forests, urban development and town, and country planning), Shimla. In doing so, he will be relieving secretary, State Election Commissioner, Mr. Surjeet Singh of the additional charge of urban development and town country planning departments with immediate effect.
