Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav met with Union ministers and Members of Parliament (MPs) in New Delhi to discuss key development initiatives for the state. The meetings focused on improving the implementation of central schemes and accelerating regional development through stronger center-state coordination.
Meetings with Union Ministers: Detailed Discussions on Development Schemes
During his visit, CM Dr. Yadav held discussions with several senior Union ministers, including:
- Jyotiraditya Scindia, Minister of Communications and Development of North Eastern Region
- Dr. Virendra Kumar, Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment
- Dr. L. Murugan, Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting and Parliamentary Affairs
- Durgadas Uike, Minister of State for Tribal Affairs
- Savitri Thakur, Minister of State for Women and Child Development
Senior state leaders, including Hemant Khandelwal, Madhya Pradesh state president, and Mahendra Singh, were also present to provide inputs on state priorities.
One-to-One Meetings with MPs: Focus on Regional Development
Earlier, the Chief Minister conducted one-to-one meetings with MPs from across Madhya Pradesh to discuss development challenges and priorities in their respective constituencies. The sessions allowed MPs to share key regional needs and offer suggestions for better implementation of central and state schemes, ensuring that development projects reach the grassroots level efficiently.
Reviewing Implementation of Central Schemes
A detailed review session was held at Madhya Pradesh Bhavan, New Delhi, to evaluate the progress of various central government schemes in the state. The discussions focused on improving their outreach and effectiveness so that the maximum number of beneficiaries can gain from these initiatives.
Center-State Coordination to Accelerate Development
CM Dr. Yadav emphasized that closer coordination between the central and state governments will provide a new momentum to development projects across Madhya Pradesh. He urged all representatives and officials to work collaboratively to ensure that welfare schemes are implemented effectively and reach the people at the local level.
“Better center-state coordination will not only speed up ongoing projects but also ensure transparency and accountability in development initiatives,” he stated.
