Infrastructure push in Tehri Garhwal and Dehradun

On September 4, Mr. Dhami approved Rs. 2.66 crore for the development of a parking facility in Ghansali market of Tehri Garhwal, addressing the region’s growing transport and congestion needs. Additionally, he sanctioned Rs. 4.49 crore for road construction works in Dharmpur assembly constituency of Dehradun, which include hot mix interlocking tiles, drainage systems, and enhancement of internal routes. These projects are expected to ease mobility and strengthen local infrastructure.

Housing development for police personnel

Expanding his government’s focus on housing, the Chief Minister sanctioned Rs. 51.28 crore for the construction of 120 Type II homes in the police line area of Racecourse, Dehradun. Mr. Dhami also facilitated the Loktantra Senani Samman Pension scheme, ensuring that eligible beneficiaries receive arrears and ongoing payments. In a dialogue with citizens in Dehradun, he addressed concerns of senior citizens and differently-abled individuals, assuring that their issues will be resolved through dedicated policy support.

State seeks central aid for disaster recovery
