New Delhi: Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers Ltd. (GRSE), a premier defence Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) under the Ministry of Defence, has declared and paid an interim dividend of ₹102.52 crore for the financial year 2024-25. Of this amount, ₹76.38 crore has been disbursed to the Government of India, which holds the majority stake in the company.
The interim dividend cheque was ceremonially handed over to Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh by GRSE Chairman and Managing Director Cmde P R Hari, IN (Retd), at an event held in New Delhi on Monday. The occasion was also attended by senior defence officials, including Shri Sanjeev Kumar, Secretary (Defence Production); Rajeev Prakash, Joint Secretary (NS); Amit Satija, Joint Secretary (DIP); and R K Dash, Director (Finance), GRSE.
For FY 2024-25, GRSE has declared an interim dividend of ₹8.95 per equity share of face value ₹10, an increase from ₹7.92 per share declared in the previous financial year. The company has demonstrated a consistent commitment to shareholder value, having paid dividends every year for the past 31 years.
As of March 31, 2025, GRSE boasts a strong order book worth ₹22,680.75 crore, underscoring its solid financial standing and continued strategic role in India’s defence sector.
GRSE, headquartered in Kolkata, is known for its vital contributions to the Indian Navy and Coast Guard, including the construction of warships, patrol vessels, and other critical maritime assets.
