Mr. Patel highlighted that the Vibrant Gujarat Summit, initiated by Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, has already placed Gujarat on the world map of trade and industry. Building on this legacy, the state government now aims to extend the model across smaller urban and rural regions, ensuring that grassroots participation strengthens Gujarat’s growth trajectory.

Focus on Futuristic Industrial Development

The Chief Minister expressed confidence that these Regional Summits will chart a new path for India’s industrial future. He stressed that inclusive growth is central to Gujarat’s development model, and the upcoming initiative will serve as a catalyst to create opportunities in lesser-developed areas.

Urban Development Year and Sports Infrastructure

Mr. Patel also underlined that Gujarat is celebrating this year as Urban Development Year, with the aim of transforming cities into smart, sustainable hubs. As part of this agenda, world-class sports infrastructure is being developed in metropolitan regions to prepare them for hosting national and international sporting events in the coming years.

Welfare and Viksit Gujarat 2047 Vision

Reaffirming the state’s commitment to welfare and prosperity under the leadership of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, the Chief Minister urged citizens to dedicate themselves towards building a “Viksit Gujarat” as a contribution to the vision of “Viksit Bharat 2047.”

He noted that Gujarat, established in 1960, will complete 75 years in 2035. By that time, the state aims to elevate its developmental achievements to global standards, ensuring that by the centenary of India’s independence in 2047, Gujarat will stand as a model of industrial and social progress.
