The Quality Council of India (QCI), in collaboration with the Government of Nagaland, organized Gunvatta Sankalp Nagaland at Hotel Vivor, Kohima, to drive quality-led growth in key sectors. After engagements in Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, and Odisha, the initiative has now reached Nagaland, focusing on Healthcare, Education & Skilling, Industry & MSMEs, and Tourism.
Shri Temjen Imna Along, Minister of Tourism and Higher Education, highlighted Nagaland’s commitment to excellence, stating, “The aspirations of our people define the quality of Nagaland — they are our true brand ambassadors.” QCI Chairperson Shri Jaxay Shah emphasized that “Viksit Bharat is not possible without a Viksit Nagaland,” reaffirming QCI’s support in amplifying the state’s unique strengths.
The event featured key dignitaries, including Chief Secretary Dr. J. Alam (IAS) and Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Kesonyu Yhome (IAS), initiating discussions on grassroots quality enhancement. Gunvatta Sankalp Nagaland aligns with the Viksit Bharat 2047 vision, fostering partnerships to strengthen quality standards and position Nagaland as a model of sustainable, high-quality growth.
