Gwalior: The city of Gwalior is set to host a two-day Regional Tourism Conclave on 29–30 August 2025, aimed at unlocking the tourism potential of the Gwalior-Chambal and Sagar regions. Organised by the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, the conclave will take place at Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Agricultural University under the chief hospitality of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav.
Key dignitaries attending include Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, Madhya Pradesh Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar, and Tourism Minister Dharmendra Singh Lodhi. Renowned actors Piyush Mishra and Faisal Malik will also be part of the conclave’s interactive sessions.
Focus on Investment, Culture, and Regional Tourism Growth
Held under the theme “Timeless Gwalior: Echoes of Culture, Spirit of Legacy”, the conclave aims to attract tourism investments and highlight Gwalior’s rich heritage, music, architecture, and potential for experiential tourism. The event is designed to promote public-private partnerships and encourage domestic and international investments in tourism infrastructure.
Major Agreements and MoUs to Be Signed
Several critical Letters of Award (LoA) and Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) will be signed during the conclave:
Agreements with hospitality and eco-tourism investors
MoU with Man Singh Tomar University for the skill development of traditional musicians and folk artists
Strategic partnerships with marketing agencies like Yap Digital, Crayons Advertising, Zee Entertainment, and Concept Communications for influencer-led tourism promotion
These partnerships are expected to bring tangible benefits to local communities and strengthen investor confidence in Madhya Pradesh’s tourism sector.
Launch of New Projects and E-Commerce Platforms

These sessions will include expert voices from government, hospitality, cultural sectors, and private investors.
Tourism Business Networking and Investment Dialogues
Key stakeholders including tour operators, hoteliers, investors, and government officials will engage in B2B sessions and dialogues on investment opportunities in the region. The conclave is expected to facilitate strategic business relationships and policy discussions to drive regional tourism.
Cultural Evening to Showcase MP’s Artistic Legacy
On the first day, a grand cultural evening will celebrate the folk art and musical heritage of Madhya Pradesh, featuring the renowned Maihar Band and local artists. A special tourism exhibition will showcase the state’s top destinations, hospitality brands, homestays, handicrafts, and adventure tourism providers.
Influencer Meet, Yoga Sessions, and FAM Tours
A dedicated influencer meet will take place, allowing local influencers to connect with actor Faisal Malik and promote the region’s attractions. Yoga sessions at Gwalior Fort (30–31 August, 6:30 AM) and curated FAM tours will help delegates experience the region’s natural beauty, cultural richness, and historic significance first-hand.
Upcoming: Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart 2025
The event also serves as a precursor to the Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart, scheduled to be held in Bhopal from 11–13 October 2025, further pushing the state’s tourism ambitions onto the national and global stage.
