Haryana Govt to Train Officers on New Criminal Laws Ahead of July 1 Implementation

In a proactive initiative, the Haryana Government has announced an online training program for all IAS and Haryana Civil Services (HCS) officers of the state.

The one-day session, scheduled for June 20, is designed to familiarize officers with the nuances and implications of three new criminal laws set to be implemented nationwide from July 1.

The laws in question are the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023. Chief Secretary TVSN Prasad emphasized the mandatory nature of the training, which will be conducted by the Haryana Institute of Public Administration, Gurugram. The aim is to ensure that all officers are well-prepared to effectively implement these laws and address any challenges that may arise.
