Chandigarh: The Haryana government has once again reshuffled its bureaucracy, issuing transfer and posting orders for six Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers with immediate effect. The latest administrative restructuring aims to ensure effective governance and optimal utilization of officers’ services across key departments, including Urban Estate, Civil Aviation, Power, Municipal Administration, Irrigation, and Information Technology.
Prakash Gupta Given Additional Charge as Urban Estate Secretary
Ravi Prakash Gupta, IAS (HY:2007), currently serving as Commissioner, Hisar Division, has been appointed Secretary to Government of Haryana, Urban Estate Department, in addition to his existing role.
The posting has been made against a vacant post
His responsibilities as Hisar Commissioner have now been significantly expanded
Anshaj Singh Appointed Advisor and Secretary, Civil Aviation Department
Anshaj Singh, IAS (HY:2008), presently Director General, Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department and Secretary to Government, Haryana, has been given additional charge as:
- Advisor, Civil Aviation, Haryana
- Secretary to Government, Haryana, Civil Aviation Department
He takes over charge from Narhari Singh Bangar, IAS (HY:2011).

Vikram Appointed Managing Director, Haryana Minerals Limited
Vikram, IAS (HY:2014), currently Managing Director, Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited (DHBVN), has been appointed Managing Director, Haryana Minerals Limited (HML), New Delhi.
- He will continue as MD, DHBVN
- He has been relieved of the additional charge of Managing Director, Haryana Power Generation Corporation Limited (HPGCL)
Virender Lather Gets Additional Role in Grievances Department
Virender Lather, IAS (HY:2014), currently serving as:
- District Municipal Commissioner, Ambala
- Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Ambala
has been posted as Special Secretary to Government, Haryana, Grievances Department, in addition to his existing duties.

Sachin Gupta Given Additional Charge in Irrigation & Water Resources Department

Aparajita Appointed Additional Secretary, IT & Electronics Department
Aparajita, IAS (HY:2018), currently Deputy Commissioner, Kaithal, has been appointed:
- Additional Secretary to Government, Haryana, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Department
- Director, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, Haryana
She will continue as Deputy Commissioner, Kaithal, with the posting made against a vacant post.
MD, Haryana Minerals Ltd Declared Equivalent to Senior Scale IAS
In a significant administrative clarification, the Haryana government announced that under Rule 12(1) of the IAS (Pay) Rules, 2016), the post of Managing Director, Haryana Minerals Limited, New Delhi, shall be treated as equivalent in status and responsibility to a Senior Scale IAS post, as listed in Schedule-II of the Rules.
This move formalizes the seniority and stature of the HML MD position within the IAS cadre structure.

According to official sources, the reshuffle forms part of routine administrative restructuring, intended to:
