Chandigarh: The Haryana government on Monday (December 1) promoted two senior IPS officers of the 1999 batch — Sibash Kabiraj and Dr. Rajshree Singh — elevating them from the rank of Inspector General (IG) to Additional Director General of Police (ADGP).
Sibash Kabiraj: From IGP to ADGP
Sibash Kabiraj is currently serving as the Commissioner of Police, Panchkula, a position he assumed in April 2025. Prior to his current posting, Kabiraj served as Inspector General of Police (IGP) for the Ambala Range. His promotion to ADGP recognizes his distinguished service and leadership in key policing assignments across the state.
Dr. Rajshree Singh: Promoted for Outstanding Service
Dr. Rajshree Singh, presently serving as the Commissioner of Police, Jhajjar, has also been promoted to ADGP. Appointed as CP Jhajjar in April 2025, she has held several important roles in state policing, contributing significantly to law enforcement and administrative functions.

These promotions reflect the Haryana government’s commitment to recognizing merit and experience within the state’s police cadre. Both officers have demonstrated strong leadership, operational expertise, and dedication to public service, making them deserving of their elevation to ADGP rank.
