The government of Himachal Pradesh has recently transferred seven Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. They are:
Mr. Kamlesh Kumar Pant (1993 batch) was mandated to assume charge as Additional Chief Secretary (forest) and given additional charge of Financial Commissioner (appeals), relieving IAS R D Nazeem (1995 batch).
Mr. Abhishek Jain (2002 batch) has been appointed secretary in the Departments of Digital Technologies, governance, and PWD, and secretary in the Departments of Finance, Planning, Economics and Statistics.
Ms. M Sudha Devi (2003 batch), presently posted as Secretary in the Department of Health and Family Welfare, has been given additional charge of secretary (personnel).
Ms. Priyanka Basu (2008 batch) became secretary of the Departments of Labour and Employment, Printing and Stationery, Fisheries, Youth Services and Sports.
Mr. Rakesh Kanwar (2007 batch) has been given an additional charge as Secretary (NCES).
Mr. Rajesh Sharma (2008 batch) has been deputed as Secretary in the Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj. He will also continue to hold additional charge as Secretary of Lokayukta.
