Shimla: The Himachal Pradesh government has issued transfer and posting orders for five Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers on the recommendations of the state Civil Services Board. The reshuffle includes key administrative positions and additional responsibilities for senior officers.
Ashish Singhmar Appointed CM’s Secretary with Multiple Charges
Ashish Singhmar has been appointed as the Chief Minister’s Secretary. Alongside this role, he will also hold the additional charge of:
- Secretary, Social Justice and Empowerment Department (SAD)
- Secretary, Social Welfare Department (SWD)
- Secretary, Parliamentary Affairs
These responsibilities will be taken over from Rakesh Kanwar, who has been relieved of the additional charges.
Key Appointments in Public Sector Corporations
Arindam Chaudhary, Managing Director of HPMC, has been appointed as Director (Personnel and Finance) at HPSEBL.
Vinay Singh, Director of Agriculture, has been appointed as Managing Director of HPMC. He will also hold the additional charge of:
- Managing Director, HP Agro Industries Corporation Limited
- Managing Director, Agro Industrial Packaging India Limited
These changes are aimed at strengthening administrative oversight and operational efficiency in the state’s public sector units.
Anurag Chandra Sharma Appointed DC Kullu
Anurag Chandra Sharma, previously serving as Director (Personnel and Finance) at the Electricity Board, has been posted as Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kullu.
He will be responsible for overseeing district administration, development programs, and coordination between various government departments in the district.
Other Key Transfers
Torul S. Ravish, DC Kullu, has been appointed as Managing Director of HP State Industrial Development Corporation. He will also hold additional charge as Managing Director of General Industries Corporation, Shimla.
These transfers reflect the state government’s effort to ensure efficient deployment of IAS officers across administrative, developmental, and public sector leadership roles.
