Mumbai – Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has officially launched the Core Refinery Program, a strategic capability-building initiative aimed at preparing the next generation of refinery leaders. The program was inaugurated by the company’s Director (Refineries), who called it a “transformative step” toward empowering early-career professionals in India’s evolving energy landscape.
8-Month Program to Build Future-Ready Talent
Conceived by HPCL’s Capability Building team, the eight-month intensive program targets young officers in the early stages of their careers. It is meticulously designed to impart cross-functional expertise, enhance digital proficiency, and develop deep technical knowledge—all critical for navigating the increasingly complex challenges of modern refining operations.
In a post sharing the development, the Director (Refineries) emphasized,
“We are not just investing in skills—we are investing in a culture of learning, innovation, and operational excellence.”
