HUDCO Signs MoU with SITCO for Surat Multi-Modal Transportation Hub

The Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO) announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Surat Integrated Transportation Development Corporation Limited (SITCO) for the construction and development of the Surat Multi-Modal Transportation Hub. The MoU, aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two organizations, will leverage their respective strengths for the project, utilizing land allocated by the Ministry of Railways and the Government of Gujarat.

Additionally, HUDCO will explore opportunities for consultancy, capacity building, and technical assistance. The MoU was signed on May 9 at HUDCO Bhawan in New Delhi by HUDCO CMD Sanjay Kulshrestha and SITCO MD Manoj Garg, in the presence of senior officials from Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA) and HUDCO.
