This key footage comes months after Operation Sindoor, the IAF’s major mission carried out in May 2025 following heightened tensions with Pakistan.
The new video highlights the S-400’s long-range strike capability and how it integrates with India’s multi-layered air defence network — a major development in Indian defence readiness.

The IAF posted the video on social media platform X, showing the S-400 (named Sudarshan in Indian service) tracking and engaging aerial targets. The S-400 Triumf is a Russian-made long-range surface-to-air missile system capable of detecting, tracking, and engaging aircraft, drones, and missiles at distances up to around 400 kilometres.
