Alok Sinha, senior IAS officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre and Agriculture Production Commissioner of the state, has been made the new president of UP IAS Association.
Due to Corona, 1985 batch IAS Deepak Trivedi died in April this year and since then this post was running vacant. Deepak Trivedi was the President of the Revenue Council and died before retiring due to Corona.
However, the old executive committee is still running. In this meeting, Agriculture Production Commissioner Alok Sinha was elected as the chairman in place of Mukul Singhal, the current chairman of the Revenue Council. Both the officers were IAS of 1986 batch.
