The Competent Authority has sanctioned the appointment of Andra Vamsi, an IAS officer from the 2011 batch of the Uttar Pradesh cadre, as Private Secretary to the Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bani Sanjay Kumar. He will serve at the Deputy Secretary level in the Ministry of Home Affairs for a term of five years, starting from the date he assumes the position.
The tenure will be co-terminus with his role as private secretary, or until he ceases to hold the post, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
