Senior IAS officer Mr. Devesh Chaturvedi (1989-batch Uttar Pradesh cadre), presently serving as Secretary, Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, has been assigned additional charge of Secretary, Department of Agricultural Research and Education.
As per an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on March 3, 2025, the competent authority has approved the assignment with immediate effect. Mr. Chaturvedi will hold this additional responsibility until a regular appointment is made or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
