Following IAS officers were moved in a bureaucratic shuffle by the state government of Jharkhand:
- Jamshedpur DC, IAS officer (2011 batch) Mr. Manjunath Bhajantri has been appointed Swarnarakha Project Administrator.
- Ms. Ananya Mittal (2015 batch) has been appointed as Jamshedpur’s new DC.
- Mr. Ramniwas Yadav (2015 batch) is now DC Sahebganj, Director of Higher Education.
- Mr. Himanshu Mohan (2016 batch), the deputy commissioner from Latehar, has been appointed as the director of education.
- The Principal Secretary of the Cabinet is now Mr. Ajay Kumar Singh (1989 batch).
- The new Deputy Commissioner of Latehar is Ms. Garima Singh (2016 batch).
- Mr. Manish Ranjan (2002 batch) was appointed Managing Director of MD Building Construction Corporation Limited and Secretary of the Building Construction Department, replacing his position as Revenue Secretary.
- Mr. Arvind Rajkamal (2018 batch) has been assigned additional responsibility for the Greater Ranchi Development Agency until further orders. In addition, he will be the Principal Secretary of the Departments of Prohibition and Urban Development.
- In addition to her current position as Secretary of School Education, MS. Uma Shankar Singh (2009 batch) has been assigned the responsibility of overseeing the Sidho Kanho Agriculture and Forest Produce State Cooperative Unions.
- Mr. Pawan Kumar (2014 batch) was appointed Project Director of the Jharkhand AIDS Control Society and removed from his position as Additional Secretary of, Labor Department.
- Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Besra (2012 batch), the labor commissioner, has been appointed the Jharkhand Skill Development Mission Society’s mission director.
- MD Jharkhand Exploration and Mining and MD Jharcraft have also been assigned to Director Handloom Akanksha Ranjan. Additionally, he was appointed MD of the Mati Kala Board.
- MD Jiya Das was appointed MD of Jharkhand State Mineral Development Corporation Ltd (JSMDC) and given the additional responsibility of Chief Minister of the Small and Cottage Enterprises Development Board in addition to his current role as CEO.
- Mr. Satyendra Kumar (2010 batch), the Additional Secretary of Labor, has been removed.
- In addition to being appointed MD of Jharkhand Medical and Health Infrastructure and executive director of the State Health Society, MD Jha was appointed MD of MDFCI.
