The three IAS toppers of UPSC 2020, Shubham Kumar, Jagrati Awasthi & Ankita Jain were seen at the Department of Personnel and Training with the Union Minister of Earth Sciences, Dr. Jitendra Singh. They were present there for introductory interaction and to receive their certificate of merit.
Dr. Jitendra Singh encouraged these officers by saying that they have 25 eventful years before India celebrates 100 years of Independence and it was remarkable for the nation to see that two of the top three IAS toppers are women.
